All American Chilli

A bowl of warm chili is satisfying comfort food on a cold day. For informal get-togethers, serve in a slow cooker to keep it warm.

Probably the most appealing benefit is that breakfast jumpstarts your metabolism and, thus, helps you burn more calories throughout the day. If you start with a healthy, satisfying meal in the morning you're less likely to nibble on less nutritious things during the day

Instructions Ingredients
  1. Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in spices and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Wedge potatoes and add to pot.
  4. Continue to simmer until your taste buds can’t handle it any more.
  5. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and chopped onion, if desired.
  6. Yum on its own or with a bowl of wild rice.
500g Beef Mince
1 Large Chopped Onion
4 Medium to Large Potatoes
1 Can Kidney Beans (I use it undrained)
1 Can 3 Bean Mix (I use it undrained)
1 Can Baked Beans (I use it undrained)
1tsp Crushed Garlic (Generous portion)
1 Small can Tomato Puree
1 Generous sprinkle of Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Crushed Himalayan Salt (to taste)
1.5 tsp Crushed Black Pepper (to taste)
